Appointments
Pittsford Dermatology is a solo practice and each patient is personally seen by Dr. Helen Strapko.
Patients are seen by appointment only. You may call (585) 389-1960 to schedule an appointment. To allow for a complete assessment of your needs, expect to be at our facility for approximately 60 – 90 minutes, especially at the first visit.
48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to give 48 hours' notice may result in a $25.00 fine for a regular appointment and a $50.00 fine for a surgical appointment. Such fees must be paid before another appointment will be scheduled.
Insurance and Billing
Pittsford Dermatology participates with most insurance health plans. The practice DOES NOT participate with:
- Medicaid
- Workmans’ Compensation
- Via Health
- Health Republic
Insurance carriers will consider payment for Dermatologic services that are deemed a medically necessary illness or injury.
Insurance carriers generally will not cover services for the following reasons:
- Cosmetic procedures
- Lack of a valid referral
- Allotment for a benefit has been exhausted
- No medical insurance coverage
Payments that are the patient’s responsibility are expected at the time services are rendered.
Payment Options
We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details.
